love or lust statement 14

Shortly after moving into the Folger home, Ann Folger and Matthias spend time together walking in the gardens. In this mutual relationship, they appear happy and confident in each other’s company, especially when Benjamin is away from the family home on one of his many official business trips. Living a Christian monogamous lifestyle for Ann and Benjamin Folger appears to be without question; however, as we all know, love and lust can either build or destroy any relationship.

In forthcoming Chapters, the shocking realities of a debauched lifestyle is exposed; however, for now, let’s continue to examine additional information on the doctrines of marriage. According to Matthias, he could and would spiritually matchmake for his disciples. The principal of spiritual matchmaking involved Prophet Matthias informing the married couple that they were no longer married: after which he would assign both the husband and the wife new partners. After a blessing and unique ceremony performed by the one and only Prophet Matthias, each spirit matched husband and wife, enjoyed endless sexual intercourse inside the New Jerusalem or Zion, which Matthias is attempting to build. Unafraid and firm in his convictions, Matthias taught, and I quote. ‘All marriages were made by the devil unless the parties were married by him’ (Ref: 23) The above statement requires further examination, as most careful readers consider the institution of marriage central to society!
